You might not even think of yourself as a leader. Perhaps you are not a boss or dont have any employees. There is still no doubt you are a leader at something. It might be your family you are in charge of or a church group or occasionally youre asked to show someone new the ropes at work. On some day, in some place, it is your turn to be a leader.
Whether you are heading a committee, a volunteer effort or leading employees, you need to know how to be an effective leader. Effective leadership equals productivity for both you and the people you lead.
A good leader needs to bring both organization and motivation.
What is a Good Leader?
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
– John Maxwell

While this list of traits represents great leaders, it can also be seen as a list to strive toward. Being enthusiastic about what you do and being confident in your goal and your knowledge are certainly things that are in your power to do.
The really nice thing about this list is the realization that anyone can accomplish this. If you willing to work at it, you can indeed be a great leader.
Until next time …
