We pitch garbage. We pitch it in the trash can. We dump it in the bin. If you’ve been pitching your clothes into the closet, on the floor and piling it on that one chair in your bedroom, then you are treating it like garbage. This is usually followed by dumping piles in the laundry room which is just moving the clutter from one spot to another.
Clothing clutter certainly keeps you from being your best self. It robs you of valuable time everyday trying to get ready for work or just the day. It costs you money because you spent your hard earned salary on those garments now on the floor and on others crammed in the closet and forgotten. It causes a lot of stress.
Keeping your laundry clean and in order is not hard. It is just routine. You can do it. Begin by creating a regular wash day(s) and stick to it. Clearing out your dresser and closet of unwanted items and things that no longer fit will go a long way to make it easy to hang up garments and put things away – and create a more peaceful bedroom.
Until next time …
