times for your monkey mind is during any season of change. Changing jobs.
Moving. Changing relationships. Buying a house. Sending your child to college.
During those seasons of change, your monkey mind is literally shouting at you
with things to do, things undone and anxieties named woulda, coulda and
these times of change, remember that truly your mind does not have a mind of
its own. You can and should control your mind. This is where one or more of the
ideas listed here come into play. Take a deep breath and come into stillness.
Turn off the chatter. Make written lists of things to do so that you don’t
constantly repeat them in your head. Spend a little time thinking about
anxieties and answer the what-if questions so you have various plans of
actions. Listen more and talk less. Combine all these together and you’ve got a
winning formula for productivity during the times you need it most.
Until next time …
