Clear out the pantry and fridge of expired and unhealthy foods. Stock up on easy to prepare meal ingredients – such as fresh fruit and instant oatmeal. You don’t need to be a gourmet chef to eat healthy.
Pack a healthy lunch the night before. If you are not an early breakfast eater, pack that as well.
Plan dinners for the week. Having ingredients on hand keeps you from unhealthy choices like take-out and drive-thrus.
Make appointments for physicals and check-ups. Think you don’t have time to get your teeth cleaned or your blood pressure checked? Ask yourself if you have time for a stroke or a root canal?
Figure out a time to exercise. Why not walk and listen to a book as you do so?
Until next time …
