You’ll know that you work too much when you start to have an array of symptoms. Here are a few I’ve rounded up for you to think about. They are in no particular order but if you have several of these, isn’t the New Year a good time for you to plan a new you?

Work’s Not Fun- What was so exciting when you started the company or got the job is now just a drag.
Can’t Catch Up- It’s a sure sign you are on the burn out trail if you are getting further and further behind and can’t catch up.
Which Way Is Up? When you are pulled in all directions, you for sure need a break. If you can’t easily find your focus, then it is time to chill out.
Sending Clients to Voice Mail – Ducking clients by ignoring emails or not taking phone calls because you just can’t deal with them might mean you are on overload.
Family Issues are Growing– No matter if it being home to help with homework, getting the lawn mowed or having some one-on-one time with your spouse, if you are having growing friction because you are always working, then you have a problem.
Not Feeling Great- Health issues can creep up on you when you hit workaholic mode. Stress has a way of delivering high blood pressure, weight issues, anxiety, sleeplessness and more. It’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Until next time …
